Seizing the Agentic AI Advantage

What was to be expected: “Nearly eight in ten companies report using gen AI—yet just as many report no significant bottom-line impact. Think of it as the ‘gen AI paradox.'”

This is why a domain-specific AI strategy is needed: “At the heart of this paradox is an imbalance between “horizontal” (enterprise-wide) copilots and chatbots—which have scaled quickly but deliver diffuse, hard-to-measure gains—and more transformative “vertical” (function-specific) use cases—about 90 percent of which remain stuck in pilot mode.”

With the Data & AI Business Design Method and Kit it’s easy and fun to identify and prioritize those vertical use cases.

Also the method and canvas tools can be used for Data & AI Business Process Design, which plays a crucial role for future AI applications: “AI agents offer a way to break out of the gen AI paradox. [..] But unlocking the full potential of agentic AI requires more than plugging agents into existing workflows. It calls for reimagining those workflows from the ground up—with agents at the core.”

A Love Story: Miro+Lovable

I saw it for the first time in New York at Miro’s Canvas 25 conference: a Miro board was instantly turned into an app in Lovable—impressive! Last week, Miro asked me if I would like to test the MCP integration Miro+Lovable myself—as one of ten community members worldwide! Of course, I said yes. In this blog post, I’ll share my journey, my learnings, and, of course, the result: a ski race app. ⛷️
