Lean Analytics

An oldie but a goldie that is still highly relevant, not only for start-ups, but for anyone who wants to apply targeted analytics with minimal effort: Lean Analytics.

You probably know the lean cycle: Build-Measure-Learn. To measure and learn, you need data and analytics. What most people don’t realise is that data and analytics should also be lean.

“Eat your own dog food.”

Don’t start with the big wheel (i.e. the long cycle), but turn small wheels (aka short cycles): focus on a few critical metrics and one KPI as your north star.

There is a lot more to learn from this book, especially practical advice on online marketing. However, most key takeaways can be applied to any domain and industry.

Maybe someone should write Lean Analytics for <your industry>. 😉

A Love Story: Miro+Lovable
